Director, Solicitor and Barrister
Carolyn graduated from James Cook University in 1996 with an honours degree in law. Since then, she has worked in North Queensland, Hong Kong, China and Albany, Western Australia.
Carolyn practices predominantly in criminal law, dispute resolution and civil and commercial litigation. She has represented clients in a diverse range of matters from murder to complex interstate litigation. She regularly appears in the Supreme Court, District Court, Magistrates Court, Children’s Court and State Administrative Tribunal.
Carolyn is experienced in handling serious criminal matters and trials and has excellent sills negotiating and resolving disputes. She strives to provide clients with independent, expert, professional, objective legal advice and representation in order to achieve the best possible outcome.
In her spare time Carolyn attends ballet classes, travelling and having lunch with her friends and family.
Solicitor and Barrister
Rob is a lawyer with significant experience. He was a member of the Australian Army, serving both in Australia and overseas. After leaving the army, Rob went on to serve for 14 years in the Western Australia Police attaining the rank of detective sergeant.
Rob then decided he wanted to be a lawyer and following completion of his Bachelor of Laws at the University of New England was admitted as a lawyer to the Supreme Court of Western Australia. Rob is also admitted as a barrister and solicitor in the High Court of Australia.
Rob works primarily in the area of criminal law but has excellent skills in dispute resolution and personal injury. Rob applies his depth of experience, knowledge and personal skills to working with clients to find the best outcome.
In his spare time Rob loves water sports, developing his Jiu Jitsu skills, and completing his Master of Laws.
Trial Lawyer
Wayne is admitted to the Supreme Court in NSW, ACT and WA and the High Court of Australia.
He has extensive experience in criminal litigation and criminal defence.
He has appeared in a broad range of criminal and traffic matters including
-Bail applications
-Sentencing in Magistrates , District and Supreme Courts
-Trials as defence counsel in all jurisdictions including SAT and children’s Court matters
-Serious sexual violence matters
-White collar crime , fraud , insider trading
-Complex drug supply and possession charges
Wayne has been a sessional member of the State Administrative Tribunal for 8 years, and as a registered pharmacist, he actively contributes to administrative law of vocational matters in the pharmaceutical industry.
He is also in the Innocence Project (USA and Australia) collaborating with their international law networks dedicated to wrongful conviction reviews and support of wrongfully incarcerated people.
In his spare time he plays trumpet in several local bands and enjoys travelling and spending time with his family and toy Bichoodle.
